The only way to resolve this problem totally is to suspend
Common Sense and to destroy it and to say that in fact the Present IS available
to the Past, and that the Future is available to the Present. That when we
project upon the Future, when we contemplate the Future, the future is all
ready coming in. Because as I have pointed out: The Past is not available to us
by our own standards, if we are to be totally Thorough.
